Winter is Here with Snow Flurries in December

Aren't these colors pretty? The Spot On Jumbo Wheel is wheeled in Sage Shadow ink on Sage Shadow card stock.  Then Snow Flurries images are stamped in Handsome Hunter Classic Ink on the solid circles.

Then, on Whisper White card stock I stamped one of the Snow Flurries images in Handsome Hunter and punched out several with the 1/2 inch Circle Punch.  The white snowflakes just pop off the page!

Christmas is from Everyday Flexible Phrases and is stamped on Sage Shadow card stock on one end of the Round Tab Punch.  All those single, small words come in so handy.  I sure am going to miss Amazing to Zany.  Amazing to Zany is joining Snow Flurries on the Spring-Summer Collection 2008 Retiring List.  Click here to view the full list.

Batty for You in October!

                                                                                This page was just the excuse I needed to purchase Batty for You.  There are some sayings perfect for scrapbook pages.  I chose the bat with "I'm batty for you", the pumpkin with "You light up the place with that smile on your face" and Dracula with "Fangs for the memories".

The layered Scallop Circle Punch piece was created using a rub-on from A Perfect Day Rub-Ons in the Occasion Mini Collection 2008.  Isn't it a great look?  It nestles in perfectly to the Scallop Circle Punch.

I also continued to play with the rub-ons from the Anchored Rub-Ons and the My Way Punch.  The rub-on reads "Memories are made with this".  Again, perfect for a scrapbook page.

Tart & Tangy in September

   Apples immediately come to mind when I think of September - an apple for the teacher, fresh apple cider and a girlfriend who makes apple pie after apple pie for the freezer and always brings one to me.  The thoughtfulness warms my soul and the scrumptious pie makes my tongue dance.

This was the first project I did with Tart & Tangy.  The simple stamp set of four stamps has shown itself to be so versatile.  Did you know you only have until the end of June to order it?

To create a warm, fall feel, I used Ruby Red, Garden Green and Close Stampin' Write Markers to color theback of the stamp.  With a quick swipe of your Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker, fill in the seeds for a fantastic looking apple.  Again, the little touches add so much to your stamping projects.

The silver slide is from the Styled Silver Hodgepodge Hardware available only in the Occasions Mini Collection 2008.  Time to order the limited-edition Styled Silver Hodgepodge Hardware runs out June 30.

The Basic Black 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon brought the black from the apple seeds and black printing of the "Apple of My Eye".  Don't you just love the font?  It is Passing Notes from the Write Me a Memory Journaling Fonts CD, Volume II.
