A Flower for All Seasons is a pretty, little set of four stamps. The stamp with the bird and tulips was just perfect for my April CD calendar. This is my fifth year doing these calendars and just when you think you will never be able to come up with another fresh idea, a pretty stamp set like this appears.
The colors I used are Lavender Lace, Sage Shadow, Barely Banana and Whisper White for the card stock. Additional colors used to watercolor with the Aqua Painter are Close to Cocoa and Bashful Blue. I stamped "Easter Wishes" from All Holidays in Garden Green.
To soften the calendar, I used the 3/16" Corner Rounder Punch on all the corners except the top corners. Not sure why, it just felt and looked right to me.
The Crop-a-Dilemakes punching the hole and setting the brads a breeze! If you don't have one, you need to order one.

My little brother (I don't care how old we get, he will always be my little brother) is getting married on May 1. I offered to make the wedding invitations, reply cards and thank you cards - all coordinating, of course. And, here they are. The Flourishes Texturz Plate from the Stampin' Up! Backgrounds I plates is the perfect companion for the Baroque Motifs stamps set! I love how they all turned out.
The wedding invitation was inspired by the first card I made when playing my new Texturz Plates. Click herefor my video tutorial of how it was made. The card stock and ink color used is Handsome Hunter.
The thank you card was made with the same Texturz Plate but on Whisper White Card Stock and Handsome Hunter ink instead. To see how I created the colored background with the Texturz Plate, click hereto view the video.
The reply card was kept simple using the 3-1/2" x 5" Note Cards with Envelopes; there was already enough bulk with the invitation and map. I fed each reply card through the printer for the inside message and then stamped with Baroque Motifs in Handsome Hunter. It is hard to tell from the picture, but I also stamped the envelopes to coordinate. I love that they all coordinate, but that each one is unique.
My next project for the wedding is the favors. I will share them as soon as I have a completed sample. I am very excited about them; they are going to be so adorable.

What a fun card this was to make! The first view is the pop-up card closed. The card is a bit bulky inside; so, I made a cardboard band to keep it closed. I decorated it with the star from the Nursery Necessitiesstamp set. And, I got to punch it out with the Large Star Punch!
What a fun surprise to open the card and have stars "pop-up" to the delight of young and old alike.
I stamped the moon and stars in Whisper White Craft Ink. The Whisper White and Bashful Blue stars were all punched out with the Large Star Punch and Star Punch. Don't you just love when you punch instead of needing to hand-cut everything? If you have visited my site before, you know how much I love the Stampin' Up! punches.
