The stamp set is Only Ovals from the Stampin' Up! 2009 Occasions Mini Catalog. And, I can hardly do a card without punches, the two punches used are the Large Oval Punch and the Scallop Oval Punch. The Scallop Oval Punch is also from the Stampin' Up! 2009 Occasions Mini Catalog.

Little Monsters just for the day, perhaps - Halloween. And not-so-scary scrapbook pages for pictures of your angels. The Stampin' Up! Batty for You stamp set has the cutest sayings: The Ghostess with the Mostess, Bad to the Bone, You Light Up the Place with the Smile on Your Face, Batty for You, Fangs to You and more.
Expecting Batty for You to be on the Last Chance List on June 1, 2009 (hint, hint for the Best Guess Last Chance Contest), I wanted to use the stamp set before it retired.
Colorful pages that were pretty quick to make. My colors are Only Orange, Lovely Lilac, Green Galore, Basic Black and Whisper White. The Many Marvelous Markers allowed me to have more than one color. For example, isn't the pumpkin adorable with the green vine and black writing? To get this look, just color the stamp with your markers. And, don't forget to huff (huffing is good in stamping).
My title was stamped with the Taffy Alphabet. So sweet. The alphabet stamps were inked with the stamp pads. Stamping does go a lot quicker with the stamp pads instead of the markers. But, sometimes it is simply worth the extra time.
Have you grabbed your Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog to find this adorable stamp set? It isn't there, is it? That is because it is on the Dormant List. Batty for You is available to order now! Click on any of the highlighted words for all the product details.

The Forest Friends stamp set from the Stampin' Up! 2009 Occasions Mini is so stinking adorable.
A couple of my students asked for a graduation card for the next Card Crew class. Another wanted me to use the Forest Friends stamp set. Well, aiming to please, this is the card I came up with.
What a fun card! Seeing Spots stamp set was used for the background. Love how the circles are keeping it all coordinated.
You know I love the Stampin' Up! punches. I used the 1-1/4" Circle Punch, 1-3/8" Circle Punch and the 1-3/4" Circle punch. Layering is a beautiful thing. I really liked how the 1-3/4" Circle Punch gave me a larger mat. I did not want to use the Scallop Circle Punch (love!) to keep the card gender neutral.
My husband drew the graduation mortarboard (hat) and cut them out for everyone using the Hobby Knife and Cutting Mat. Isn't he sweet? I added a touch of Summer Sun card stock and used my handy-dandy paper snips to create the tassel.
The Occasions Mini Catalog items are available only until June 30, 2009. Place your online order now by following the link www.stampinsmiles.stampinup.net.

Life is good! Today I installed the Life is Good Decor Element to the back window of my car. Turned out nice, don' t you think?
I did learn a lesson or two. First, I do not recommend installing the Decor Elements on a hot window. I was excited about getting to decorate my car window and ignored the little voice inside that told me to wait. Will I ever learn? I believe because the window was so hot, the vinyl stuck without rubbing it. I have installed plenty of Decor
Elements before attempting this as was able to easily lift it off to try again. Not so easy on a hot window.
The second lesson was, even though I am tall, it was a loooong stretch for me. Would of , should of, could of had a ladder. But, in my excitement, who wants to stop for such trivial stuff like ladders? You know we women love to multitask, so I got a good workout all at the same time.
Another tip, I did end up cutting the "is good" off and installing it separately. On something within better reach, I am sure that would not have been necessary. But, it made installing it on the back window much easier.
For a tutorial on how to install Decor Elements, click here.
Hopefully my Life is Good vinyl will make someone smile.
