My Jingle All the Way Decor Element glass block was a big hit with my stampers! It was just one of my projects from my Great Gifts Class. From what I heard, most of my gals are keeping their decorated glass block. I teased them by mentioning it was a "gifts" class. A great answer to my teasing was "We can give gifts to ourselves." Yes, you can!
The glass blocks were purchased at a local home improvement store. The bells at a discount store. The 3/4" Real Read Polka-Dot Grosgrain Ribbon, Whisper White card stock, Tombow Multi Purpose Adhesive were all , and available to be, purchased from me on my Stampin' Up! website, www.stampinsmiles.stampinup.net. I will list all the items with the item numbers below.
Wondering where the Whispering White card stock comes into play? It is on the back on my glass block. It is attached with Tombow Multi Purpose Adhesive. I purchased two different packs of Christmas Designer Series Paper with the intention to use it on the back. To my surprise, the designer paper made the Jingle All the Way Decor Element to blend in; it simply was not easy to see. I tried every piece and various color of card stock. Whisper White is the only color that let my Jingle All the Way be the star it was meant to be.
The Real Red 3/4" Polka-Dot Grosgrain Ribbon is simply tied around the glass block. No additional adhesive was needed. I love Polka-Dots and immediately thought it just had to be used on a Christmas project when I first saw it in the 2009-2010 Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog.
