If you are a regular reader of my blog, you know I love the punches. My heart skipped a beat with joy when I saw the Delightful Decorations and coordinating Ornament punch in the Holiday Mini Catalog! And, it has paper, Holiday Lounge Designer Series Paper, in the Stampin' Up! 2009-2010 Idea Book & Catalog to also coordinate with it! Happy day!
While Ruby Red and Sahara Sand are not your typical Christmas colors, my scrapbookers loved the pages. I believe the best pay is when someone lets you know they like what you designed. Mind you, I am not at all opposed to money, though. :)
There really is nothing tricky or requires much explanation about my scrapbook pages. Just two things I want to point out.
The first, the scallop border under the photo mat on the first page is designer paper from the Holiday Lounge Designer Series Paper.
It is the same paper as used on the left of the photo mat. I simply trimmed along the circles to create my scalloped edge.
The second item I want to note is how I attached my Silver Elastic Cord bows (Holiday Mini Catalog). I made my bow then attached with a Mini Glue Dot. After I attached the bow to the ornament, I used my fingertip to press on it until it was no longer sticky. We sure do not want Mini Glue Dots sticky to the page protector or anything else. It worked beautifully! My scrapbook pages slid smoothly into the page protectors.
