Ordering bundles is the way to go because you save 10% on both the stamp set and coordinating dies or punch (and sometimes Designer Series Paper). Use this tip on how to order Stampin’ Up! bundles. Something to note is bundle discounts are available only for the duration of the catalog the products are introduced.
Last year Stampin’ Up! started notifying us when adding an item to your shopping cart if the inventory is low so we know to complete the order right away, or if an item is on backorder with the option to continue or remove it from our shopping cart.
Great information so we can adjust accordingly. There’s one time the new alert system doesn’t work, and that is with bundles. If you have a project planned that you need/want both items in the bundle as soon as possible to complete it, add the bundle to your shopping cart so you’re sure to get the 10% bundle discount.
Then add each item separately. You can see with the picture above, there isn’t any kind of warning. See what happens when the Hometown Greetings are clicked on.
Now we can see the coordinating Hometown Greetings Edgelits Dies are in Low Inventory. You would have also been notified if on backorder.
