The December page was one of the top favorites. Peaceful Wishes is such a beautiful stamp set. It makes you look good with so little effort.
The pine boughs were stamped with the Handsome Hunter Classic Stampin' Pad and the pine cones with the Close to Cocoa Classic Stampin' Pad. I then stippled some Handsome Hunter to rid the page of all that white space. Quick yet pretty.
Now, we will move on to other fun stamping projects I've been doing. Check back to see.
Old Olive, Really Rust and Ruby Red leaves from the With Gratitude stamp set adorn my November page. I then used a Stamping Sponge and the Really Rust Stampin' Pad to warm up the page from all the white space.
Fully expecting the Perpetual Birthday Calendars to get a lot of use, I purposely kept each page flat without any added layers or embellishments. Flipping through the months over and over, year after year will always be a breeze.
Only Orange is a great color, but when Stampin' Up!® introduced Pumpkin Pie into the exclusive 48 colors collection, I was ecstatic.
The pumpkins are from the Give Thanks stamp set. I easily colored them in with the Pumpkin Pie, Close to Cocoa and Old Olive Stampin' Write Markers.
There was still too much white space when I was done coloring pumpkins. I sponged with the Close to Cocoa Stampin' Pad with a Stamping Sponge. It warmed the page up even more.

Using the Stampin' Write Markers made for such a realistic looking pencil. I used More Mustard, Real Red, Going Gray and Basic Black to color the back of the stamp.

This is the third page I used the All Through the Year stamp set. I could have used this set for most of the pages. What a versatile stamp set for only $17.95.

Seeing Spots stamp set made this adorable March page.
Pinch Proof was not yet available when I designed the for my Perpetual Birthday Calendar Class, but I was able to "go green" using Seeing Spots with Gable Green, Green Galore and Glorious Green Classic Pads all from the Bold Brights family.
All Through the Year was used on the February calendar page as well as January's. This time I added the heart from A to Z Accents. Both hearts have the shabby chic look and coordinated so beautifully.
The heart from All Through the Year is first inked up in Purely Pomegranate Classic Ink, stamped off once, and then stamped on the calendar page. The heart from A to Z Accents was stamped in full strength Purely Pomegranate (one of the fabulous In Colors). The stamping off technique allows me to have different shades of the same color.
I then used the Stipple Brush with Purely Pomegranate Classic Ink to fill in the white area. I love the Stipple Brushes for a softer sponged look. I probably would have been too heavy handed with the dark Purely Pomegranate and not achieved the soft color.
