The Sprinkled Expressions stamp set has three fun shapes - star, heart, flower - and three great sayings. Let's get to the star card made with the Sprinkled Expressions stamp set. The base of the card was made by Godby (God be) With Us Stamper Sherrie Bryant. In the center of the Designer Frames Embossing she had stamped her greeting on the So Saffron Card Stock with Old Olive Classic Ink. We couldn't remember which Stampin' Up! stamp set it came from. So, I used her card and made a couple of changes to turn it into a Sale-a-bration card.
Instead of stamping directly onto the So Saffron Card Stock, I used my Stampin' Write Markers, So Saffron, More Mustard and Old Olive, to get a variety of colors and stamped on Whisper White Card Stock. Sherrie's color combination, So Saffron, More Mustard and Old Olive, was taken from the Color Coach. It sure worked well for the colors of my stars.
The stamped Whisper White piece was layered onto an Old Olive Card Stock piece. Then I got all fancy and embossed and trimmed a So Saffron Card Stock piece with the Houndstooth Embossing Folder and filled the frame. Upon reflection, I thought it might have been cool if I had embossed a More Mustard Card Stock piece for inside the frame. It might have looked like I cut out the inside of the frame. Oh well, maybe next time.

I love matchy matchy. Melissa used three different of the patterned papers that still coordinate. You just got to love that about the Stampin' Up! Designer Series Papers. All different yet coordinating.
One of the different Jolly Holiday background papers Melissa used was on the gift tag. Melissa used the Large Tag and Extra Large Tag Punches for a perfectly layered gift tag.
Take a gander at that beautiful handwriting! I wish I could write like that.
Melissa's finishing touch was the ribbon tied around the length of her pretty pillow boxes. The ribbon also perfectly coordinates because the ribbon is also from Stampin' Up! Stampin' Up! products - card stock, background paper, brads, buttons, ribbon and more - all come in their exclusive, coordinating colors. Stampin' Up! makes it easy to have beautiful, color coordinated handmade projects.
It looks to me Melissa tucked the gift tags under the ribbon. It looks like it is tied in without needing to punch a hole, thread the ribbon through the hole and tie a know. That's what this stamper would do.

A Godby (God-be) with Us Stamper, Bonnie Purcey, has successfully and beautifully die-cut through knits with the Fun Flowers Bigz L Die. Don't the flowers look like an expensive embellishment you would purchase at a craft store?
Bonnie sews on the beautiful die-cut flowers to mittens she makes from knit sweaters. She said the mittens looked quite plain until she added the Fun Flower die-cuts. After looking at the picture of the full mitten with the die-cut flowers, can you imagine it without them?

The flower petals and leaves are both from the Blossom Petals Punch. Because my punched flower looked a bit whimsical, I thought the Elegant Lines Sizzix Embossing Folder would make for a great background. Funny, I see the pattern as whimsical and whoever named the folder thought it looked elegant. All the in eyes of the beholder . . .
My color combination, Pretty in Pink, Sahara Sand and Always Artichoke, was taken from the Color Coach. I had used the color combo before on my February 8-1/2" x 11" wall calendar page. I find it to be a striking combination.

My card also uses the Sizzix Framed Tulips Embossing Folder and Decorative Label Punch from the Occasions Mini Catalog. It never ceases to amaze me at how an added touch or two can make your card stand out in the crowd. The beautiful part is took virtually no time to add in the extra touches.

The Northern Frost die has eight different snowflakes. I used all of them on my January calendar page. They are so pretty!
My penguins bodies were made using the Ovals #2 Originals Sizzie Die. The arms were punched with the 1-3/4" x 7/8" Oval (formerly Large Oval) Punch. The feet were made with the Boho Blossoms Punch. These fat penguins crack me up.
You would love to see this calendar page in person. The snowflakes and snowbank glisten as if it were a sunny day. I used the Shimmer White Card Stock to make this page extra special.

Are you Sizzix Big Shot fan? It is one of the best purchases I have ever made. It allows me to create cards that look fabulous but are fast to make. The card below is a great example. The embossing is what made a pretty card so much prettier.
And, imagine how excited I was to find new Stampin' Up! Sizzix dies in the Stampin' Up! 2011 Occasions Mini Catalog! Naturally, on my first order were the two new circle dies: 3" Circle Originals Die and 3-1/2" Circle Originals Die.
I was especially excited to see the new circle dies in the Occasions Mini Catalog because my husband asked when I was going to add circle Sizzix Embossing Folder Chipboard Templates to my collection. I love when my chipboard templates coordinate with the Sizzix Dies. When they coordinate, layering is so easy. While we enjoy paper crafting, easy makes it even more enjoyable!

Did you spot where all the products are used? I just love the vinyl snowflakes decorating my candy jar! I made them with the Sizzix Northern Frost Decorative Strip and White Decor Elements (vinyl) Sheets. How great is it we can make our own Decor Elements? I love it!
Stampin' Up! recommends the Decor Elements Sheets with the Originals and Bigz Dies. But, I have been very succesful using them with the Sizzlits, Embosslits and Decorative Strips.
