Need an easy-to-make and inexpensive Halloween goody bag?   As I wondered out loud it was too simple, my girlfriend said perhaps that is exactly what you might be wanting for party favors or, you may want to make a slew of goody bags for your co-workers or childrens’ school mates.

You need to know the new Gusseted Cellophane Bags from the 2012 Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog are soft yet still durable.  The material for these bags are new.  You will love how easy they are to work with, easy to mold to whatever you put it them and how easy it is to stand them up.

The new Gusseted Cellophane Bags measure 5″ x 3″ x 11-1/2″.  Tall enough for a theater candy box with room left over to gather at the top and tie off with a bow.

The gusseted bags hold much more than a box of candy, also in my goody bag is a package of microwave popcorn bite-size candy bars and Pixy Stix.  The 1/2″ Striped Satin Ribbon (Basic Black/Basic Gray) is the perfect look for a Halloween goody bag.  It is soft and ties easily into a bow.

The tag is from the Stampin’ Up! Tricky Treats stamp set.  It was stamped with Basic Black Classic Stampin’ Pad in onto Whisper White Card Stock.   This trick-or-treating ghost helped keep this easy-to-make Halloween goody bag easy because the stamp image is designed to coordinate with the Curly Label Punch.  Thank goodness.  Can you imagine trying to cut out around the curved line leaving equal distance all around?  Now that is scary.

A quick couple of swipes with the Tangerine Tango Stampin’ Write Marker to color his trick-or-treat bag and a couple of self-adhesive Googlies for his eyes.  Sure, you can purchase googly eyes just about anywhere, but if you desire quick and easy, you will love that the adhesive is already on the backs!

The Halloween tag is hanging from the 1/2″ Striped Satin Ribbon with a piece of White Bakers Twine fed through a hole made with the 1/16″ Handheld Circle Punch.
