This is the second handmade Christmas card I showed using what would have been the leftover background paper for my clean and simple Stampin’ Up! Snow is Glistening card video tutorial. One viewer asked what did I do with the plaid snowflake border? It was too pretty to toss and was waiting for me to use the same piece of patterned paper for a third Christmas card.
My Whisper White snowflake border die-cuts went from edge to edge of my homemade Christmas cards. The plaid snowflake border stumped me for a bit because it was only 4″ wide. The solution was easy enough, simply make a 4″ wide layer.
It’s hard to stop playing once you get started. The white snowflakes against the white card base on the first card really pop. What would happen if the snowflake border die-cut was white and this time with solid cardstock instead?
My preference is with the plaid pattern from the Stampin’ Up! Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper, but the Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White option is attractive too.
