A beautiful teapot is an iconic symbol of femininity. Pair the new Stampin’ Up! Tea Together Stamp Set with the All My Love Designer Series Paper to make an ultra-feminine handmade Mother’s Day card.
The teapot stamp was inked with Lovely Lipstick Classic Stampin’ Pad ink and stamped directly onto the small floral print from the All My Love Designer Series Paper and then die-cut with the coordinating die from the Tea Time Framelits Dies. This served two purposes, a solution for those who aren’t fond of coloring a large area and provided beautiful teapot in no time at all.
The die-cut floral teapot was set against Lovely Lipstick, Flirty Flamingo, Whisper White and Soft Sea Foam Cardstock (all colors from the All My Love Designer Series Paper). The contrast of the soft green was my favorite but still needed a little help. That help came from by layering over top the delicate Delightfully Detailed Laser Cut Specialty Paper. This is when it became an ultra-feminine handmade Mother’s Day card.
A few flowers of the leftover background paper were trimmed by hand to decorate inside the card. One was also added to the envelope. This will work only because I’ll be hand-delivering my handmade greeting card.
The greeting and sentiment also from the Tea Together Stamp Set were both used inside my handmade Mother’s Day card.

The sample cards in the Sale-a-bration catalog are quite attractive stamped on Whisper White Cardstock. I just couldn’t resist cutting out the flowers and lattice. The Paper Snips make it easy to cut evenly in small areas.
The flowers, leaves, and lattice were colored and shaded with Stampin’ Blends. The largest flower was stamped a second time, trimmed with the Paper Snips and adhered with a couple of Stampin’ Dimensionals to add a bit more depth.
The Highland Heather flowers are gorgeous set against the Highland Heather lace embossed background. The dimension created from the cutting and layering kept them from disappearing into the background of the same color for a feminine handmade greeting card.
A double bow made with the Joy Crafts Bow Maker provided the finishing feminine touch.

My gorgeous handmade butterflies card made with the Stampin’ Up! Beauty Abounds Bundle comes with a prediction that is coming even quicker than expected.
Only five days after I gave you the news the Sale-a-bration Organdy Ribbon Combo Pack supplies have run out (until March and then will be available only while supplies last) and predicted that some other 2019 Sale-a-bration Special FREE gifts with purchase were also vulnerable to run out too, Stampin’ Up! announced the Grapefruit Grove & Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheets & Precious Parcel Card Kit have been much more popular than expected, and supplies are projected to run out well before March 31. And, now that the announcement has been made, they will surely run out even faster!
The stunning butterflies on my handmade butterflies card are Grapefruit Grove Foil Sheets die-cut with the new Butterfly Beauty Thinlits Dies from the 2019 Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog. There are two of the large butterflies dies. Both look good when used alone, but the magic starts when you layer the more detailed one over the other! Use the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets for easy application.
Did you know you get 4 sheets of the limited-edition Grapefruit Grove and 4 sheets of the Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheets when you select the Grapefruit Grove & Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheets ($16 value!) for one of your FREE gifts with $50 order placed in my online store during the Sale-a-bration Special?

The steps for die-cutting with Framelits dies and coordinating stamp sets is to stamp, center the die around the stamped image, and then die-cut. It’s a wonderful process that eliminates the need to cut out by hand. The question “Can you stamp AFTER die-cutting?” is answered in the video tutorial my Stampin’ Up! Amazing Life card.
The rectangle triple line frame inside the stitched rectangle die-cut is one of the stamps from Stampin’ Up! Swirly Frames Stamp Set. It provides a decorative touch that makes the stitched rectangle layers look even better.
Now that you have the answer to the question “Can you stamp after die-cutting?”, you can see it can save you A LOT of time when making multiples of the same card.
You’ll need the incredible Stamparatus stamp positioning tool to pull this off. If you haven’t already ordered one, this is an excellent reason to order one today!
The supplies and measurements for my Stampin’ Up! Amazing Life card are below.
Order the Stamparatus in my online store www.shopwithshelly.com so you can save time now that you know the answer to “Can you stamp after die-cutting?” question.

The love started with circles, squares, and ovals. Now the stitching around the border has spread to rectangles too! The new Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies are sized for perfect handmade card layers, as you can see with my Stampin’ Up! All That You Are card.
Most of our handmade greeting cards are rectangular making the new Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies wonderful for making cutting layers easier than ever.
The stitching for the two die-cut layers on my Stampin’ Up! All That You Are card is enticing. The 13 rectangle dies are going to quickly become indispensable for your cardmaking.
Did you notice the All That You Love Stamp Set in the 2019 Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog? It’s easy to miss because it’s pictured on the inside cover. The big, beautiful flower is one that is surely not to be missed.
Using Stampin’ Blends (Stampin’ Up! alcohol markers in their exclusive colors) is an outstanding method for coloring and shading the large flower and leaves without the warping, you almost always get when watercoloring.
